On November 9th parents, DPS team members, leaders from the Latino community, and a national expert on innovative school models will convene to explore the future of school. This conversation will transcend debates about school governance models (charter vs. district-managed) and common reform strategies (e.g., to close or not-to-close a struggling school). Instead, the conversation will focus on the hopes and dreams we have for our children, and the learning experiences and supports they will need to succeed in world that has changed significantly from one generation ago, and that will continue to change at a dizzying pace.
